EYE EXAMS

Eye Exams

We provide comprehensive eye care to all members of the family. By listening to your concerns and using the latest in technology, we provide a service that is unmatched in the eye care field.

Tired of feeling rushed by the doctor? We take the time to listen to your needs and answer all your questions.

Eye Exam

What to Expect

Eye exams take between 30 to 60 minutes. We make every effort to run on time, which means there is usually very little wait. Your exam includes:

  • A prescription for glasses

  • An eye pressure check

  • An ocular health assessment

  • A visual-skills assessment (e.g. eye alignment, peripheral vision, color vision)

Family Care

We provide eye exams to all members of the family. The American Optometric Association (AOA) recommends an eye exam at least once per year. For patients with eye conditions (e.g., cataracts, glaucoma), more frequent visits may be needed.

The AOA recommends scheduling your child's first eye exam at 6 months of age. If no concerns are found, your child should then be seen at 3 years of age
